As professionals in the behavior change industry, we all know that if one is going to be successful, it is necessary to have an endless supply of tools and techniques at the ready. This workshop will provide attendees with tools they can take back to their departments and use successfully and immediately. The techniques taught require no funding, legislative changes, department policy mandates, written manuals, or any of the hoopla that usually accompanies new ideas in community supervision. This workshop will be fun, fast-paced, participatory, and highly interactive. Participants will leave this session feeling energized and full of new ideas and hands-on tools that will improve their group facilitation skills or when working one-on-one with clients. Please join us and be prepared to play and learn.

SESSION PRESENTERS
Jeff Koenig
National Accounts Manager, National Curriculum and Training Institute, Inc.


Jeff earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership from Northern Arizona University. Before joining NCTI, Jeff held numerous positions with the Maricopa County Adult Probation Department, for 19 years. Jeff has been with NCTI since 1998.

Aaron O'Connell

Aaron holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice from Western Michigan University and a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership from Northern Arizona University. Aaron has held positions as a Youth Specialist at Starr Commonwealth, a Probation Officer specializing in the supervision of sex offenders with the Maricopa County Adult Probation Department, adjunct professor with the Criminal Justice Department at the University of Phoenix, a Curriculum Specialist with the Arizona Supreme Court, and is currently the Learning and Development Manager with the National Curriculum & Training InstituteÒ, (NCTI) Inc.
