Tribal Committee: Development of a Culturally-Considerate Risk Assessment

SESSION INFO

Wednesday, January 8, 2020
10:00 AM - 10:45 AM
Session Type: Workshop

This session will discuss the development of a culturally-considerate risk assessment for tribal persons under supervision. Over the past decade, as researchers develop risk assessment tools used to determine the likelihood of recidivism among persons under federal supervision, the question remains: can a similar tool be validated among persons under supervision within American Indian/Alaska Native populations?
