The Fraud Triangle is a model to explain why otherwise normal people commit fraud such as asset misappropriation and corruption. This course will utilize three case studies of actual community supervision employees in Texas engaging in corruption, bribery, asset misappropriation, and other significant and serious crimes.

Joe Agins
, TX Board of Pardons and Paroles
Mr. Agins is a Certified Fraud Examiner with over 25 years conducting fraud investigations in the corporate environment. He is a regent emeritus of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners and formerly taught courses in white collar crime at Sam Houston State University.
Chris Cirrito
Chief Audit Executive, TX Department of Criminal Justice
Mr. Cirrito is a Certified Internal Auditor, Certified Fraud Examiner, and Certified Government Auditing Professional with almost 30 years experience in the field of corrections. During his tenure he has conducted numerous investigations of corrections employees who were referred for criminal charges for fraudulent activities.
