Barbara Broderick is chief probation officer for Maricopa County, Arizona. She became chief probation officer for Maricopa County in December 2000, and has also served as Interim Chief Juvenile probation Officer, state director of the Adult Probation Office for the Arizona Supreme Court, and New York State Director of Probation and Correctional Alternatives.

Brian Lovins is a Principal for Justice System Partners. Prior to joining Justice System Partners, he was Assistant Director of Harris County Community Supervision and Corrections Department and Associate Director for the University of Cincinnati’s Corrections Institute.

David Muhammad is executive director of the National Institute for Criminal Justice Reform and a Senior Advisor with the Columbia Justice Lab Probation and Parole Reform Project. Previously, he served as Chief Probation Officer of the Alameda County (California) Probation Department, as Deputy Commissioner of New York City’s Department of Probation, and as Chief of Committed Services for Washington, DC’s Department of Youth Rehabilitation Services.

Vincent Schiraldi is Co-Director of the Columbia Justice Lab and Senior Research Scientist at the Columbia School of Social work. Previously, he served as Commissioner of New York City Probation and Commissioner of Washington, DC’s Department of Youth Rehabilitation Services.
