Lisa Blanchette Chamorro has been working for the State of Rhode Island Adult Probation for 33 years. She started off as a secretary and has worked her way through the ranks (secretary – Probation Aide – Probation/Parole Officer – Training Officer – Supervisor – Assistant Administrator) up to the title that she now holds. Lisa holds an Associate’s Degree from Community College Of Rhode Island and a Bachelor’s Degree from Roger William’s University in Bristol, Rhode Island. Lisa was instrumental in the implementation of the E Supervision system in Rhode Island and assisted in gaining staff buy in.

Michelle Lanciaux is a native Rhode Islander who has worked in the Information Technology field for 35 years with most of those years being at the RI Department of Corrections. Michelle started her career as a Jr. Programmer and now serves as a Senior Agency IT Manager for the Division of IT. Back in 1998, she helped program with other team members the current Inmate Facility Tracking System that the RIDOC utilizes daily. A graduate of Community College of RI and Bryant University, she holds a Bachelor of Computer Science and Criminal Justice. She also has her PMP certification. She currently oversees the Agency IT Managers at RI Department of Corrections (RIDOC), Department of Behavioral Healthcare, Developmental Disabilities & Hospitals (BHDDH) and Department of Children, Youth and Families (DCYF). Major projects she has been involved in is the RIDOC Probation and Parole migration to the new ESupervision – Journal Technology Inc. as well as the beginning stages of procuring a new Comprehensive Child Welfare Information System replacing the current system at DCYF. Another upcoming project is for RIDOC creating an RFI for a new Offender Management Tracking System.

Adam Senter is the Director of Supervision Implementations with over 15 years at Journal Technologies. Adam manages product development and implementations for probation, parole, pretrial and specialty court Case Management Software used around the world. For more than a decade, Adam has analyzed and created best-practices found in supervision departments in dozens of states across the US. Adam began his career in criminal justice as a Probation Officer in Logan, Utah, after graduating magna cum laude from Utah State University with a BA degree in Spanish & Sociology.

Barry Weiner is a native New Yorker who has worked in the field of community and institutional corrections for four decades commencing as a contract substance abuse treatment provider in Brooklyn, NY and rising to the level of Chief Federal U.S. Probation, Parole, and Pretrial Officer for Rhode Island. Barry began serving the Rhode Island Department of Corrections as Assistant Director of Rehabilitative Services in 2014. A graduate of John Jay College of Criminal Justice and Columbia University School of Social Work, Barry holds a license as a Clinical Social Worker and was instrumental in introducing and advancing Medication Assisted Treatment services to inmates in Rhode Island. He has been responsible for overseeing numerous new initiatives to organizations in his managerial role and assisted in gaining staff buy-in and organizational culture change.
