9:15 AM - 10:45 AM
Session Type: Workshop
As technology continues to advance at an exponential rate, we must learn to change and adapt our practices to provide the best case scenario for our clients.
In ‘Digital Innovations: Navigating the Technological Landscape Post-Release’ we will talk about how technology has advanced in the past decade and what this means for our practices. Insights will be shared as to how technology has affected people post-release and gain an understanding as to how it feels to get dumped into a new technological age where communicating has moved to mainly online services. There will be a discussion about how technology affects recidivism rates - both positively and negatively. At the end, we will also be placed in groups with scenarios to practice how to handle certain scenarios.
