The purpose of this committee is to reach out to probation and parole services in other countries in order to learn about their issues and programs and to see what application this information might have for probation in the United States. The committee is made up of members who have a desire to learn about probation in a broader context and who want to share their interests in a particular probation service with others. This is often accomplished through international workshops at APPA Institutes.
