Community Corrections Chase 2019
Registration for the Chase closes Friday, August 9, 2019 at midnight EST!
APPA’s third interactive learning experience, the Community Corrections Chase (C3), will offer an exciting, rewarding, competitive challenge as well as learning experience for training institute attendees. It is a take on the very popular CBS show, The Amazing Race, where contestants “race” around the world. In our competition, community corrections/supervision professionals will team up to “chase” an opportunity to gain knowledge about practices, theories, and policies that increase understanding of this industry.
Teams will leave the San Francisco Marriott Marquis Hotel on Tuesday, August 20, at 12:00 p.m. Each stop on the fact-finding expedition will offer a different educational opportunity. Participants will learn a little bit about San Francisco and get a quick-study on subjects related to community corrections. Members of the first team to return to the hotel after successfully completing all assignments will be crowned champions! Prizes will be awarded to the first, second, and third place teams, and all will get a certificate of completion.

Registration for the C3 session is FREE.
If you wish to participate, you can select it under "Optional Event Fees" when you register for the Institute. There is no actual fee for this session so no additional cost to you.
