Join APPA for our Executive Summit of Community Corrections Leaders this fall! This seven-week series is available strictly to agency heads at all levels – federal, state, county, municipal, judges, non-profit CEOs, and/or corporate members of APPA.

This exclusive leadership-focused program will be bookended by dynamic and purpose driven opening and closing sessions. One plenary session speaker, Mr. Amir Ghannad, is an international leader in management development, author of The Transformative Leader, and co-founder of The Ghannad Group.

Throughout the Executive Summit, attendees will collaborate in facilitator led small groups. Leaders will be coached on the enormous responsibilities they must perform as dedicated public servants, but also better learn to conduct themselves like a business leader – setting consequential goals to strengthen their successes. Leaders will learn from their peers and create lasting professional relationships.

The Executive Summit will provide resources to elevate each agency's bottom line while strengthening accountability and public safety. Trainings will focus on four areas of learning meant to drive purpose and enhance results:

The importance for leaders to understand themselves first.
The need to create a proper environment – one conducive to team learning.
The essentiality of measuring success.
The case for creating more effective communication strategies.
