We are pleased to be planning our first in-person annual training institute in two years and look forward to seeing you in Chicago. We recognize that in-person attendees will be coming in from various parts of the country, with differing COVID guidelines and restrictions. Our goal is to keep everyone as safe and healthy as possible by adhering to reasonable guidelines.
As of February 28, 2022, the City of Chicago has lifted its indoor mask requirements. We are therefore proceeding with our in-person plans with the following requirements for ALL attendees, volunteers, and staff but especially those who are immunocompromised.
- Utilize sanitizing stations before entering/leaving the meeting rooms.
- Practice proper social distancing.
- Stay home if you are experiencing any symptoms or have been exposed to someone who has tested positive. (See our cancellation policy.)
- Notify : Diane McDonald via email. if you test positive during the training institute, so that we can appropriately alert other attendees and assist you.
APPA is working closely with the Chicago Hilton Hotel to ensure all guests are provided with a healthy and successful experience from the preparation through the execution of the event. The hotel has implemented this multi-pronged cleaning approach.
As we start the training institute, there may be additional optional or required guidelines for safety measures.
