The Grand Sierra Resort is pleased to offer you this definite rate, quoted above, for single or double occupancy, plus thirteen percent (13%) Washoe County Room Tax (subject to change). All paid occupied rooms are subject to a $2.00 tourism surcharge, per room, per night.
Triple and Quad occupancy rates are $25.00 per person over the quoted rate. Rates apply three (3) days before and three (3) days after the arrival/departure dates at the aforementioned "GROUP" rate, based upon guestroom availability. All rates quoted herein are net, non-commissionable unless specified in this document.
The Complimentary Resort Fee Includes the following goods and services:
- Unlimited use of the swimming pool (seasonal) and fitness center.
- In room wireless internet and local calls
- Two (2) bottles of water per day in room
- Round trip transportation to and from Reno Tahoe International Airport via shuttle
- Self and Valet Parking.

Please Note: Hotels will not hold any reservation unless secured by a first night’s advance deposit made by a major credit, which will be processed at the time the reservation is made. Deposits are refundable for cancellations received 72 hours prior to arrival.
In the event a guest who has reserved a room within your block checks out prior to the guest's reserved check-out date, the Grand Sierra Resort and Casino will add an early check-out fee of $50.00 to that guest's individual account. Guests wishing to avoid an early check-out fee should advise the hotel at or before check-in of any change in planned length of stay.
APPA has blocked the number of lodging rooms to accommodate members and guests based on past history. Guests who reserve multiple lodging rooms that are later cancelled within days of arrival create financial harm to APPA. Please avoid over booking more lodging rooms than necessary. By registering for the APPA Institute you agree to allow the hotel to share your reservation information with APPA to insure that you receive the discounted rate and are counted towards the APPA Institute room block. A nominal fee is included in the lodging rate for convention center costs.
