Online Lodging Reservations
We are now accepting hotel reservations. ONE HOTEL ROOM, PER REGISTRANT. APPA has blocked the number of lodging rooms to accommodate registered members and guests based on recent history and hotel availability.
*To take advantage of APPA's room block you must be registered for the training institute.
Please Note:
Block A ($237/night plus taxes and fees) is for government employees (including probation and parole officers) ONLY.
Block B ($327/night plus taxes and fees) is for Non-government employees. Periodic reviews of room Block A will be conducted.
*If a non-government attendee has a reservation in Block A, that reservation will be cancelled WITHOUT NOTICE.
If you need assistance with registration, or for hotel reservations greater than TEN rooms, please contact Kimberly Mills, APPA's Office Manager and Registration Coordinator by email. *Please note that upon booking your reservation, your credit card will be charged a deposit equal to the first night's room and tax.
APPA reserves the right to CANCEL hotel reservations made under its block without a current registration. A cross-check between registration and hotel reservations will be conducted weekly.

You can purchase a MetroCard at any subway station from multilingual machines (which accept cash and credit and debit cards) or booth attendants. The City’s fleet of taxicabs is regulated by the NYC Taxi & Limousine Commission (TLC). Taxicabs operate 24 hours, provide door-to-door service and accept cash or credit cards. The City’s famous yellow fleet is primarily seen throughout Midtown but can be hailed for trips to other boroughs and states. NYC’s apple-green Boro Taxis can pick up passengers in the Bronx, Brooklyn, Queens (excluding the airports) and Staten Island, plus northern Manhattan (north of West 110th Street and East 96th Street); they are not authorized to pick up any trips elsewhere in Manhattan.
