About APPA

Staff

APPA is an affiliate of and receives its secretariat services from the Council of State Governments (CSG).

As the voice of the community corrections industry, APPA’s responsibilities are immense.

We have our dedicated staff to thank for carrying out the day-to-day operations, led by Executive Director, Veronica Cunningham.

Our Team

For the work we do serving our members and managing projects, staff responsibilities are divided accordingly between our Administrative and Grants Divisions.

Serve APPA membership
Plan and conduct training institutes
Coordinate onsite and online trainings
Produce our quarterly e-Journal, Perspectives
Provide a variety of web-based products
Disseminate information to the field

Secure project funding from various sources, including federal and state government agencies
Facilitate projects primarily involving training and technical support for professionals in the field
Conduct and/or advise on research and evaluation
