Many tribes are seeking to implement a more community-based response to crime. One community-based response that is being embraced by tribal justice systems is community corrections (pretrial, probation, reentry).

Community supervision programs are growing and flourishing in American Indian/Alaska Native communities. This web page is designed to serve as a continuing resource for professionals working within pretrial, probation, and reentry roles as they continue to develop and grow their programs.
